FCI International All Breeds Judges

Wednesday, 19 June 2019

The FCI is revamping its Judges Directory; ANKC Judges who are already listed will become FCI Breed Judges, FCI Group Judges or FCI National All Breed Judges.

If an Australian All Breeds Judge would like to become an FCI International All Breeds Judge they will need to complete the FCI Application Form - found here.
The completed form must be forwarded to the relevant Member Body office for onforwarding to ANKC Ltd.

PLEASE NOTE:  We advise all applicants to be patient once ANKC has sent these forms to the FCI as it will probably take some time to process them.  Do not download the FCI Form from their website as the form has to have the ANKC Logo on it.
The FCI will not deal with individuals and will only accept these forms from their affiliated member organisations.

Security at KCC Park

Wednesday, 19 June 2019

Recently there have been a number of incidents involving non-members using KCC Park behaving in a threatening manner towards our members. Unfortunately this sort of behaviour appears to be on the increase. Management Committee takes the safety of our staff and members very seriously and will be implementing a number of strategies to address this issue.

Effective immediately, members are requested to carry membership cards for identification at all times when entering KCC Park. Failure to produce your card identifying yourself as a member may result in a request to leave the premises.

Hot off the Press

A Notice to all Melbourne Royal Show 2022 Participants

It has come to Dogs Victoria's attention that parking on Leonard Crescent, Flemington has changed from previous years. Although it is directed in your drop off/pick up parking permits to park in the Broadcast (Victoria University) carpark, on day one there was no ability to pay cash at the gate with members being advised that they needed to prebook. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be clear guidance on how to pre pay for this parking.

The Melbourne Royal Show has advised Dogs Victoria that exhibitors can access the main Flemington Racecourse carpark after drop off. Alternatives are to pay for local private house parking or park at the local school. Dogs Victoria is continuing to seek clarity from The Melbourne Royal Show regarding exhibitor car parking and will update members as soon as any further information is available. I encourage members to preplan their parking and to share this with any Melbourne Royal Show Exhibitors to avoid any parking complications.

Kind Regards,

Jason Eggleton | Chief Executive
