In the event that the Respondent fails or refuses to issue a formal written letter of apology to either of the DV members named, the Respondent will be further suspended from judging or taking part in or having any connection with any exhibition of dogs held under VCA Rules and Regulations until the Respondent issues a formal written letter of apology to each DV member.

  1. The Respondent is given a 2-year suspension of DV membership under Regulation 5.6.1.6 to commence as of 17 June 2025.
  2. Under Regulation 5.6.1.7. The Respondent is ordered to refund the entire stud fee amount of $4500.00 to the complainant.
  3. Under Regulation 5.6.1.7 the Respondent is ordered to provide a written letter of apology to each of the two complainants, submitted to Dogs Victoria Compliance, for forwarding to the complainants, apologising for providing misleading information about the actual sire of the litter produced and acknowledging the difficulty and harm caused by her conduct.
  4. Under Regulation 5.6.1.5 the Respondent is ordered to pay a fine in the sum of $500 to Dogs Victoria.

5.6.1.6 - A suspension of membership privileges is imposed for six months effective from 11/06/2025.

5.6.1.7 - The respondent is ordered to pay the complainant a refund of $4,000 for the purchase price and $500 towards flight costs. The total of $4,500 is required to be paid within three months from 11/06/2025. In the event the payment is not made within the specified timeframe, the time it takes for payment to be made will be added to the six month suspension.

5.6.1.1 - Respondent is suspended for 6 months from 27/06/2025 from taking part in or having any connection with or attending any exhibition held under VCA rules and regulations or being associated with any affiliated body. 

5.6.1.7 – There will be a suspension of membership for a period of 6 months from 27/06/2025 in the respective State that the respondent holds membership.

5.6.1.5 - $500 fine.

5.6.1.7 – The respondent must provide a letter of apology to the exhibitor outlining her actions and language were inappropriate on the day. This letter needs to be provided to the Dogs Victoria office. 

The original disciplinary outcome will remain in place until the letter of apology is received by the exhibitor (via Dogs Victoria) and the $500.00 is paid.

5.6.1.7 - Refer to Dogs Australia Regulations, Part 8, Member Bodies and Membership. Section 4, Reciprocal Arrangements. 4.5 Any suspension of membership placed on any member of a Member Body shall be upheld by all other Member Bodies. (05/05) This will result in a suspension of membership in her current State of membership for the period outlined in 5.6.1.1 and 5.6.1.7 above.
