1. The Respondent is given a 2-year suspension of DV membership under Regulation 5.6.1.6 to commence as of 17 June 2025.
2. Under Regulation 5.6.1.7. The Respondent is ordered to refund the entire stud fee amount of $4500.00 to the complainant.
3. Under Regulation 5.6.1.7 the Respondent is ordered to provide a written letter of apology to each of the two complainants, submitted to Dogs Victoria Compliance, for forwarding to the complainants, apologising for providing misleading information about the actual sire of the litter produced and acknowledging the difficulty and harm caused by her conduct.
4. Under Regulation 5.6.1.5 the Respondent is ordered to pay a fine in the sum of $500 to Dogs Victoria.

5.6.1.4 - The litter application will not be registered until the respondent provides DNA proof of parentage to Dogs Victoria.

5.6.1.6 - The membership and member privileges will be suspended until the respondent complies with the direction of this hearing.

5.6.1.7 - All dogs registered to the respondent (as of 31/07/2025) will not be eligible to be transferred out of his name regardless of when the transfer is dated, including back dating, until the direction of this hearing has been complied with.

5.6.1.2 - a 12 month suspension from competition any dogs owned/part owned and/or leased/part leased by the respondent from 04/07/2025

5.6.1.4 - no litter will be eligible for registration where the respondent owns/part owns or leases/part leases either parent of the litter for a 12 month period from 04/07/2025

5.6.1.7 - failure to pay the fine within one month from 04/07/2025 will result in her suspension period being extended by the same period as it takes to pay the fine from 04/08/2025

5.6.1.7 - The respondent is required to re-sit the breeders exam to develop a greater understanding of the purpose of genetic testing and importance of health testing.

All litters to be registered between 02/12/2025 to 02/12/2028 must be from parents who have both been hip tested.

The panel imposes a 12-month suspended membership sentence, conditional upon the respondent maintaining good conduct. In the event that any further breaches or matters are referred to the panel within the suspension period, the sentence will be activated without further hearing and a full 12 month suspension of membership privileges will apply.

No fine was imposed.

5.6.1.6 - The respondent’s membership is suspended for a period of six (6) months from 20/01/26.

5.6.1.7 - The panel orders the respondent to refund the amount of $1,250 to the complainant. This refund is to be provided within one month of 20/01/26. For any additional time that it takes to provide the refund, this time will be added to the suspension of the respondent. The respondent will remain suspended until all directions of the panel have been met. The respondent is to provide a letter of apology to the complainant for the length of time it has taken to resolve the issue and for any anguish this has caused. The respondent is to ensure she follows up in a timely manner regarding DNA collection and testing. This is to confirm pedigree for a new pedigree to be issued.

5.6.1.6 - Membership will be suspended for 6 months from 23/01/2026.

5.6.1.7 - The respondent is to pay $1,500 for stud work to the owner of the stud dog. Payment is to be made within one month of 23/01/2026. If additional time is taken to make payment, this amount of time will be added to the member’s suspension period and remain suspended until paid.

The litter registration is to be processed at the current financial rate of puppy registration. Failure to register the litter within the time period will result in an additional 12 month suspension.

5.6.1.7 – The respondent will seek a statutory declaration from the breeder of their bitch outlining that the error in registration was theirs at the time of sale. This will be presented to DV Management Committee who will determine if the litter registration can be approved and registered as per the application in line with the registration regulations.  The respondent is reminded of the regulations regarding breeding and the importance of double-checking paperwork to ensure the code of ethics of breeding has been met. This is the vital element of breeding.

5.6.1.6 – The respondent will receive a suspended sentence of 6 months from 30/01/2026.

5.6.1.5 - A $500 fine payable to Dogs Victoria is imposed, payable within one month from 02/02/26.

5.6.1.7 - A refund of $1,500 is payable to the complainant for not providing a puppy. This is payable within one month of 02/02/26. Failure to pay by the due date will result in immediate suspension of the respondent’s membership and no further transaction will be actioned including any transaction dated prior to 02/03/26 and yet to be processed. The suspension will remain in place until the refund has been provided.

The respondent is to provide, within fourteen (14) working days, two formal written apologies addressed separately to the witnesses.  To ensure the preparation of these written apologies, the respondent is required to engage the assistance of a family member to support him in drafting the letters.

Should the written apologies not be received within the prescribed timeframe, the respondent’s membership will be fully suspended pending receipt of the apology letters.

In addition, the respondent is suspended for a period of three (3) months under rule 5.6.1.7. from attending the venue KCC Park (State dog venue). However, he is permitted to attend on Tuesdays only for the sole purpose of drop-off and pick-up, limited to a maximum duration of five (5) minutes per visit.
