Cadenzahgold have successfully been breeding ANKC registered Golden Retrievers for nearly 25 years. Our dogs and puppies are all carefully raised in and around our home with the utmost attention to health and wellbeing.

We are a Puppy Culture focussed kennel with Candy having completed three full Puppy Culture courses, ‘The Joy of Singletons’, With Open Arms and a Level Head: How to Welcome a Puppy Into Your Life and ‘From Newborn to New Home’ in addition to the standard Puppy Culture video that is often referenced by other breeders.

We go the extra mile to establish a sound start both mentally and physically for our puppies and dogs that includes foundation training for puppies including Toilet / Crate training, Resource Guarding, Recall, Paying Attention, Clicker Training and general confidence training in a variety of environments.

We also expose our dogs and puppies to a variety of raw, cooked, fermented and processed foods during the weaning process and into adulthood to increase gut health and establish strong gut biome for better overall health.

All our mother dogs are extremely well bred from show bloodlines and are much loved family pets who love people, engaging in new situations and being involved in all our family activities. We work hard to ensure all our dogs have low hip and elbow and scores, have clear heart and eye certificates and we conduct full DNA panel testing on all our dogs as well. The results of DNA testing is then used to carefully select appropriate sires when breeding puppies to ensure none of our dogs or their puppies are affected by conditions such as PRA1/2 and Ichthyosis.
