Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions for registering a Breeder advertisement on the Dogs Victoria website as follows:

General Membership

• You must hold a current financial Membership and registered Breeders Prefix with Dogs Victoria.
• Members with current compliance matters or cases under their membership may be declined and removed from the breeders listing website. Members can apply to be on the website once the matter has been resolved.

Personal Details

• All breeders are responsible for maintaining their listing with current information.
• All information included in listings must be truthful and accurate.
• Dogs Victoria reserves the right to edit any spelling or punctuation needs on listings.
• By including your details on our website you agree that the general public may contact you and Dogs Victoria staff may refer puppy inquires to you on the contact information published on the site.
• Your full name must be included in the listing with a minimum of one contact field entered (either contact phone number or email). 
•  Facebook pages or Instagram profiles are allowed instead of a website.

 
Images

• Images of the dogs must showcase an accurate representation of the breed and welfare of the dog. 
• Images of dogs being chained up or looking like they are in distress will be removed from the website.
• Any uploaded image you agree that you have full permissible rights to use.
• If any images include adults or children, written permission from those featured in images must be available at any time should Dogs Victoria need to confirm this permission. 
• No blurry or distorted images.

 
What can’t be posted:

• No advertisements for current or upcoming puppies can be posted on the breeder listing.
• No advertisements for re-homing dogs can be posted on the breeder listing. 

What Dogs Victoria recommends you place in your breeder listing:

• Blurb on your stud breeding history or an introduction to your stud
• At least one photo showcasing the breed
• At least one contact name and number, please specify your preferred method of contact and any further details on expected response wait times etc
• Full Registered prefix name
• Website and/or social media links that you have full rights to publish
